Hi Mindful Misfit,
I’ve been quiet here, on social media and in my business for most of May. My body was pulling me to be present with the shifts I was and am continuing to experience.
Throughout the rather tumultuous month I’ve come back to this idea that shifting and evolution is so many things including messy, scary, unknown and absolutely crucial.
Discovering that I am an autistic PDA-er and losing my main source of income all in the last 4-5ish months not only hasn’t allowed me to focus on much else but is requiring me to pivot and change direction (which I have tried really hard to avoid :)).
I am changing rapidly so that means Mindful Movement for Misfits and my work here will be changing too.
I have no idea what next week looks like, or next month. I feel like I’m moving along the path and the path is being created at the same time.
Though I don’t know how this work will evolve I do know that I can’t stop the force behind it. I know my passions and values of healing, justice, human connection and neurodiversity will continue to lead me though.
I believe there’s great power in meeting each other here on this topsy turvy path. I believe we deserve more space to be held in the messy in between places - those places that don’t get much focus but are really meaningful, difficult and isolating for many of us. I believe we can build deep trust in ourselves in order to navigate it all.

During this time I am continuing to connect with and support people on a 1:1 basis. I truly believe in the magic that comes from deep relational work and moving on the path together during times of change.
